Do you want to become an instructor? Do you want to learn how to teach diving courses and share your passion with others? If you answered yes, then the SDI Assistant Instructor course is for you! The SDI Assistant Instructor course is designed to prepare you for the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor level by giving you practical teaching experience, lesson planning skills, and academic presentation skills. You will work with an instructor to learn how to teach various SDI courses and specialties.

You will also learn about SDI standards and procedures, liability and insurance, risk management, and more. Once you complete this course, you will be able to teach and certify students in the SDI Snorkeling course and the SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher course. You will also be able to assist with other SDI courses under the supervision of an active SDI Instructor.
